The most successful album in Lewis’ career was the third album called, “Sports” which became one of the greatest selling pop albums of all-time. “Sports” went multi-platinum and hit No. 1 on the charts will four singles reaching the top ten of the Billboard Top 100 list. Huey Lewis and the News gained even more widespread popularity and acclaim for their work on the soundtrack of the hit film Back to the Future. Their song, “The Power of Love” which was in the movie, was a No. 1 hit and was nominated for an Academy Award.
