The movie has top actors starring like Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret. The movie was released on May 20, 1964. The movie narrates a story of Lucky Jackson (Elvis Presley) who is eager to participate in a racing competition. For the racing competition he arrives is Las Vegas, Nevada. Once he arrives there he realizes that his car’s engine needs a replacement as he has to have a very efficient engine for the racing competition. Therefore he works and raises the money needed in Las Vegas itself. He is mesmerized by Ms. Rusty Martin (Ann-Margret) who is a swimming instructor. As he is distracted by her, he also misplaces his money, which he had specially raised to get a new engine. All the while his rival Count Elmo Mancini, (Cesare Danova) is preparing well enough for the race and has the ambition to win. Elmo comes to know about Jackson’s situation and is all the more pleased that now Jackson has ruined his chances of winning at the competition. To complicate matters Elmo also tries to woo away Jackson’s crush, Rusty Martin. Jackson is found in a situation where he is at a loss because of the misplacement of money and his rising tension about how he would compete in the race and also win Rusty’s liking for him. The movie was preceded by Kissin Cousins and followed by Roustabout. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer is the main distributor of this film.

 

The movie runs for 85 min. The soundtrack is composed by George E. Stoll while Joseph F. Biroc, ASC has done the cinematography.
