Oliver reed’s wife Irena dies and he gets married to co-worker Alice Moore. Oliver and Alice have a six year old daughter Amy, who is reserved and an introvert. Though her father encourages her to extend her friendship and mingle with her classmates, she is still encased in her world of daydreaming. One day Amy finds the photo of Irena who is a cat woman. Irena then appears to Amy and they both become friends with each other. And parallel to this Amy also befriend an aging actress and spends time with her. The actress is alienated from her daughter named Barbara. The story unveils in a series of fantasy as experienced by Amy. It stars renowned actors like Simone Simon, Kent Smith, Jane Randolph, Ann Carter and Eve March. The soundtrack is given by Roy Webb and the Cinematography is done by Nicholas Musuraca.
