September is a dramatic film written and directed by Woody Allen and was released in 1987. The story runs about loneliness, selfishness, betrayal and unrequited love. Likewise, it centers about Lane as portrayed by Mia Farrow who is recuperating after a failed suicide attempt. However, there is some kind of switches in terms of love interests.
According to reviews, Allen shot the film two times. The movie initially starred Sam Shepard, Charles Durning and Maureen O'Sullivan. However, after Allen edited the movie, he later on decided to rewrite the script, find new cast and re-shoot it.
