The plot of the story is like this Michael Courtland, who is a businessman of New Orleans life gets shattered after the death of his wife and the daughter. They died in a kidnapping rescue attempt. After so many years he meets with a girl named Sandra in the Italy and falls in love with her because of her resemblance with her wife. And soon he plans to get married with her. He brings her with him to his country and plans their wedding there. His friends oppose the wedding and tell him that he is only obsessed with her face which is similar to her dead wife. On the eve of their wedding he receives the same kidnapping note which he received 10 years earlier when his wife and daughter get kidnapped. This wonderful suspense drama was acted by Cliff Robertson, Genevieve Bujold and John Lithgow. They all performed their characters very well and this film becomes the one of the best mystery drama series for all time. “Obsession” was also nominated for the Oscars and even won one award in other nomination.
