This group was originally named as The Rain and was formed by the Liam Gallagher who is the vocal and the tambourine artist in the band; Paul "Bonehead" Arthur's who plays Guitar. They has total 8 UK's number 1 – singles, 7 UK's number 1 album, nine Q awards, 15 NME awards, 4 M TV Europe music awards, and total 6 Brit Awards which includes the one in 2007 for the outstanding contribution to the music industry and one for the best album of last 30 years which was voted by the listeners of the BBC Radio 2. Till the 2009 this band sold total of 70 million records all over the world and it is also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010 for one of the “Longest top 10 chart run by a UK group” after successive 22 Top 10 hits in the UK. This band has one more record in the Guinness book of World Records for “Most successful act of the last decade” which is between the year 1995 to 2005 in which they have given top 75 singles and the albums chart.

 

During Oasis journey till now many artists joined and left the group, like in 2000 Gen archer and Andy Bell joined and Paul Arthur left the Oasis. Till today they are contributing their services to the Music industry with full dedication.
