The movie is a horror based movie and depicts a violent and wicked leprechaun. The leprechaun had been sealed away by Daniel O’grady because the leprechaun had stolen his bag which contained a hundred gold coins. After ten years, a father and his daughter (Jennifer Aniston) move into the same house where Daniel had once lived. When the house is repainted, one of the painters hears the leprechauns cry from the basement and unknowingly releases him. The leprechaun after being released goes on a killing spree and haunts and terrorizes four friends. Basically the leprechaun is out to find his gold coins and harasses these friends. The friends keep seeking on how to get rid of the leprechaun and find out the by rubbing a four clover leaf to its body, they can kill him. The friends are in search of the leaf and find it and eventually kill the leprechaun.
