The recent release of Lassie was in 2005 directed by Charles Sturridge. The family due to its financial crisis sells Lassie to a Duke of distant land. The boy in the family suffers the separation. Lassie finds her way home and join backs her companion and the family. The movie is about Lassie’s adventure traveling almost 500 miles from the Duke of Rudling’s home in the Scottish Highlands to her family. According to the sources, this is the eleventh movie on Lassie. The movie was remade adopting the 1943’s Lassie Come Home. The movie was filmed in Scotland, Ireland and on Isle of Man. Though the film had poor box office rating, a reviewer of New York Times had admired the movie. He had mentioned that Lassie with her beautiful and precise expressions would put Jim Carrey to infamy.
