Animal House was released by Universal Pictures in July 28, 1978. The story was adapted from the stories of Chris Miller which was published on American humor magazine National Lampoon. The film was directed by John Landis who also directed music videos by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney.

 

 

After the success of the Animal House, Kevin Bacon’s career started to grow. He appeared on films such as A Few Good Men, Apollo 13, Friday the 13th, Hollow Man, and The River Wild in which he was nominated for the Golden Globe for his performance. Bacon also won the Golden Globe Award for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television" for his outstanding performance of the HBO drama film Taking Chance.

 

 

On the other hand, Karen Allen came to fame after her notable performance as Marion Ravenwood in Steven Speilberg’s Raiders of the Lost Ark. She earned a Saturn Award for Best Actress. Aside from fil making, Karen Allen also appeared on broadway productions and television series.
