Family Guy is an animated TV sitcom which is a creation by Seth MacFarlane which is being aired by Fox Broadcasting Company. At the same time, it is being regularly in some other networks through syndication. It was originally released in the year 1999. The show was cancelled though in the following year. However, due to the successful DVD sales and overwhelming ratings of its reruns, its third season was made though it was again cancelled after the season’s end. Another successful rating in its reruns that drove it’s revival in 2004 for an additional three seasons. It completed its 100th episode of its sixth season in 2007 that arises its syndication. Just recently, its 7th season started on September 28, 2008 and it has been reported to continue with some additional episodes up to 2012.

The story is on the series of adventures of Peter Griffin who is a clumsy but a well-focused blue-collar employee. His wife is Lois who the typical full-time mother but is making money to financially help Peter through teaching piano lesson. They both have three children, Meg who is a home buddy teenager, Chris who is an obese and is intellectually weak and baby son Stewie who acts as an adult and can speak fluently. The family has a dog pet Brian who is likely a human that walks with his two legs, a drinker and a smoker and joins in some of human talks. The family lives in a fictional created town of Quahog, Rhode Island.

 

The characters’ voices are mainly casted by Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mike Henry, Mila Kunis and Seth MacFarlane. As of to date, it is running into 116 episodes.
