The movie stars Miranda Stuart Rhyne as Angela, a child trying to take refuge in these hallucinations to escape the emotional turmoil. Charlotte Eve Blythe plays the role of her six year old sister Ellie. It was released in 1995 and screened at the Annual Sundance Film festival and others where it went on to win critical acclaim and awards. The film highlights the effect of a dysfunctional family on the children who go on to make up their own alternate realities. The director shoots the scenes with poignancy and sensitiveness which is demonstrated in the cinematography and even the costumes as well.
