The plot lines of all these adventure tales are racy and set in the backdrop of unknown worlds while Indiana Jones with his characteristic bullwhip, fedora and the leather jacket along with knowledge of cultures traverses these lands attempting to solve mysteries, save lives and sometimes the world.

 

While the first adventure installment sees him posed against the Nazis trying to stop them from taking the Ark of Covenant, the second installment set in 1935 sees him attempting to recover Sankara stones and innocent children from the blood thirsty clutches of Thuggee cult. The third installment sees the return of the Nazis and their quest to find the Holy Grail.

 

The latest 2008 installment, 19 years after the release of the first movie of Indiana Jones sees him pitted against Soviet Agents looking for a magical crystal skull.
