28 Days is an American film in 2000 that is under the direction of Betty Thomas. The role of Gwen Cummings is played by Sandra Bullock, who is the newspaper columnist whose focus is in alcoholism rehabilitation. She co-starred with Dominic West, Viggo Mortensen, Dianne Ladd, Elizabeth Perkins and Steve Buscerni!
The plot of the film starts with Gwen Cummings who borrows the limo of her sister after she and her drunken attics ruins the reception. She crashes it on while she’s trying to find for another cake to replace the original cake she just destroyed. Right there and then, she faced two options, 28 days in rehabilitation center or in jail but she chooses to stay in rehab. But then, she was resistant to be involved in any treatment program as she refuses to admit that she is really an alcoholic!
