I have always thought that Tom Hanks as one of the best actors around. He may have several movie flops in his early years as a movie actor but from then on, he has transformed himself into a sought after actor in Hollywood. He was known for his role in the movies Philadelphia, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me if You Can and the Da Vinci Code which has earned him several Best Actor award. Tom Hanks is one of the few brilliant actors that have won back-to-back Academy award for Best Actor. Successful in his stint as an actor, he also went into directing and producing movies such as “That Thing you do!” which is about a pop group in the 1960’s. Hanks was also involved in voice-over projects such as the “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2”. This proves Tom Hank’s versatility as an artist and perhaps the reason why he has been able to handle a wide range of roles in his movies.
Personally, I loved his work on Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan. He played the role well in Forrest Gump and has made the movie more exciting and interesting. His team up with Steven Spielberg on the movie “Saving Private Ryan” has been successful too. Both of these movies are among the top movies that I love which is why I kept some memorabilia on these two movies. Hollywoodmemorabilia.com can provide you with a lot of collectibles from your favorite actors and movies such as Tom Hanks signed memorabilia or collectibles from the movie “Forrest Gump”.
The Godfather and its sequel The Godfather part II and part III are among my favorite movies of all time. The movie was starred by among the brilliant actors of the time that included Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Al Pacino and James Caan. The movie was so good that it had joined among the top films of all time among the different movie critics. It also received several awards including Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor and Best Picture. Following the success of the first film, “The Godfather part II” and “The Godfather part III” also received overwhelming success and positive reviews. Only few movies have achieved such feat which makes it a very good collectible.
I personally love the story of the Corleone Family’s rise to the crime world. From Don Vito Corleone’s migration to the United States of America to the success of the Corleone family under the leadership of Michael, the three movies provide you with a glimpse on how a Mafia family operates. While the movie is brutal at times with all the killings, I think that makes the movie more realistic and believable.
I collected all three movies as part of my movie collections and have some memorabilia along with it. I plan to add to my collection of The Godfather memorabilia and I think HollywoodMemorabilia.com has the largest collection that I can find. You should check it out as well.
