She has modeled for different companies like American Eagle Outfitters, Unionbay Clothing, Sassy Magazine and even appeared on two commercials for Gap.  She has also been featured in different music artists’ music videos like Cher, The Goo Goo Dolls, Korn and many more.   

Her acting career started when she was discovered by a casting director in Gwyneth Paltrow’s party where she worked as a DJ.  She landed on a female lead role after beating Kate Hudson for the film A Knight’s Tale with Heath Ledger.  Her presence on this film attracted the attention of many prominent people in Hollywood so she was offered with other different projects like 40 Days and 40 nights with Josh Hartnett in 2002.  During the same year, she was given the lead role on The Rules of Attraction.  She and Heath Ledger again had a second film together in film The Order.  This was her last film before she took a break since she also became pregnant.  Recently, she starred in the film The Road to Nowhere which will open in fall of 2010 and is currently in TV show How to Make It in America.
