There are many actors of today and in the past are usually exposed in the world of acting and stage plays at a very young age just like Senta Berger. Having a musician father, she started to perform on stage as early as four years old with her accompanying her and learned ballet at five years old.

After being a part of the big screen for some time, she went back to do some theatre work like Jedermann. Aside from the acting career, she also began her career as a singer being a chanson singer. This is the French term for song with lyrics and is polyphonic in nature.
She has been appointed as the president of German Film Academy in 2003 that aims the advancement of their artists skills in the world of entertainment.
