Sir Thomas Sean Connery was born on the 25th day of August 1930; however, he was better called by his stage name Sean Connery. He was a famous Scottish producer and actor, who won BAFTA Awards, Academy Award and Golden Globes. In addition to his accomplishments, he also gathered the awards Henrietta Award and Cecil B. Demille Award.
Connery was best known for his character portrayal as James Bond, and starred in almost seven films from 1962 and 1983. It was in 1988 that Connery also won his award for being the Best Supporting Actor, with his role in the movie “The Untouchables”.
His career on films spanned from “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”, “The Hunt for Red October”, “Murder on the Orient Express” and “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”.
In addition, Connery was surveyed as “The Greatest Living Scot” and it was in 1989 that he was declared as the “Sexiest Man Alive” by the reputable People magazine. At his age of sixty-nine, in 1999, he was chosen as the “Sexiest Man of the Century”.
His personal life consisted of being attracted with several women like Julie Hamilton, Maxine Daniels, Micheline Roquebrune and Diane Cilento. Connery also became interested in golfing and football.
