Born on the 17th of December in the year 1975, Milla Jovovich is an actress, supermodel, fashion designer and musician all in one. Throughout her showbiz career, Jovovich became part of several films themed with action and science fiction, the primary reason why she was referred to by VHI music channel as "reigning queen of kick-butt."
At an early age of 11, Jovovich already started her modeling career when Gene Lemuel, a photographer, saw her and persuaded Herb Ritts to take some pictures of Jovovich for Lei magazine’s cover. She was featured in Revlon’s advertisement for "Most Unforgettable Women in the World" by Richard Avedon.
Jovovich also continued her modeling career for some more campaigns for Versace, Donna Karan, Christian Dior, Banana Republic and L’Oreal cosmetics. Her very first professional role as an actress happened in 1988 for The Night Train to Katmandu, a television film that time. Later in the same year, she also starred in her very first feature film which was the Two Moon Junction.

and Resident Evil: Afterlife. Jovovich was also nominated for the Best Horror Actress for the role as Dr. Abigail Tyler, a proof of her prowess as an actress.
