He also worked with Eddie Murphy in the 1992 romantic comedy film “Boomerang” also starred by Halle Berry, David Alla Grier, Robin Givens, and Martin Lawrence. In 1995, he was “Willie Jones” in the dramatic comedy-buddy film “Friday” featuring rapper and actor Ice Cube as Craig Jones, with Chris Tucker, Nia Long, Faizon Love, Anna Maria Horsford, and Bernie Mac; and as Silas Green in the comedy-horror film “Vampire in Brooklyn” also starred by Eddie Murphy. He had made cameo appearances in other movies like in “I'm Gonna Get You Sucka”, “House Party”, “The Meteor Man”, and “Little Nicky”, to name a few, according to sources.
Witherspoon was also a regular in the sitcom “Wayans Bros.” which aired from 1995 to 1999, which mainly starred by the real-life brothers Shawn and Marlon Wayans, Anna Maria Horsford, Jill Tasker, and Lela Rochon. He also has guest appearances in the 70’s sitcom “Good Times” and “What’s Happening!!”; and also in “Martin”, a sitcom starred by Martin Lawrence in 1992. He’s the voice behind Robert “Grandad” Freeman in the animated television show “The Boondocks”. He also appeared in music videos like in Jay-Z’s music video for “I Just Wanna Luv U (Give It 2 Me); Field Mob’s music video for “Sick of Being Lonely”; and in LL Cool J’s video “Ain’t Nobody”.
