Due to the early roles she had portrayed in the movies, Jamie Lee Curtis had earned the name “The Scream Queen”. Our sources had information about these movies. Her debut as Laurie Strode in the 1978 film, “Halloween” had been the gateway to more horror roles like one in the “Prom Night” (1980) with Leslie Nielsen. The movie “Halloween” had been a hit that she had to reprise the role many times in the following movie installments: “Halloween II” (1981), “Halloween H20: 20 Years Later” (1998), and “Halloween: Resurrection” (2002), as well as giving an uncredited voice role in “Halloween III: Season of the Witch” (1982). Movies such as “Trading Places” (1983) with Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy and “A Fish Called Wanda” (1988), relieved her of her horror queen image by featuring her into comic roles. She also starred in “Christmas with the Kranks” (2004), a movie adaptation of John Grisham’s book, as Nora Krank with Tim Allen. And recently, she played “Aunt Viv” in Disney’s “Beverly Hills’ Chihuahua” (2008).
