He presented the 2002 academy awards. He also starred in movies along with Halle Berry in X-Men, then with Travolta, John  in Sword Fish, and X2 in 2003 and then the X-Men: The Last Stand in 2006. The only award he has won so far is a nomination for the Laurence Olivier theater award which is quite prestigious actually.  He also won awards as Broadway’s best actor in 2003, 2004 and 2005. He also hosted the Saturday Night live show for a considerable amount of time. Once when interviewed by Jay Leno Jackman said that his favorite movie is Friday the 13th. His movies have won rave reviews by popular film critics like Leonard Martin. Today Jackman owns his own production company and they are producing the Last movie of the X-Men series. He has two children who go to school in New York.
