Ridley Scott has casted Harvey Keitel as a policeman in “Thelma and Louise” and shortly after made another film “Bugsy” which earned him a nomination as Best Supporting Actor in Academy Awards. He continued making movies such as “Sister Act”,  another Quentin Tarantino film “Pulp Fiction” in 1996, “Cop Land” with Sylvester Stallone, Ray Liotta and Robert De Niro.

His Latest roles were Satan in “Little Nicky” with co star Adam Sandler, “U-571”, “National Treasure”  and its sequel “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” with famous star Nicholas Cage. In 2002 he was honored at Moscow International Film Festival with the Stanislavsky Award for an outstanding achievement in his acting career and devotion to the values of Stanislavsky’s school. After this he played as Jerry Springer in the NY City premiere of “The Opera” at Carnegie Hall, appeared regularly in the TV show “Life on Mars” and in 2009 he made a special appearance in a Jay-Z video for Death of Auto-tune.

Harvey Keitel was formerly linked to actress Lorraine Bracco. And is now married to Daphna Kastner and is father of 3 children; Stella, Lisa and Roman.
