In 1998 he was able to land another leading role in the movie Out of Sight, playing Jack Foley, a career-long bank robber who escapes from prison in the trunk of a U.S. Marshal. With his second leading role, Clooney acted with Jennifer Lopez, Michael Keaton, and Ving Rhames. The movie proved to be a long collaboration relationship with director Steven Soderbergh.

Most recently, Clooney has decided to begin to direct his own movies, but not before becoming a smash hit with the movies Oceans Eleve, which many reviews say is one of the best remakes ever. The movie most definitely rocketed Clooney’s career, as he partnered with Brad Pitt and Matt Damon and others to create a thrilling movie telling the tale of two partners in crime who escape prison and reconnect to begin their criminal ways. The movie went on to have two more sequels, both of which Clooney starred in. Today, Clooney continues to act in leading roles, but he is also focusing on his career as a movie director.
