In 1974, John collaborated with Lennon of The Beatles fame. In the same year, ‘Caribou’ was released. In 977, John announced that he would produce only one album a year, and was retiring from performing. In 1979, ’21 at 33’ was released. This album was followed by ‘The Fox’, which was released in 1981.In 1983, John reunited with all the band members to produce the album, ‘Too Low for Zero’ in 1983.In 1990, Elton John released ‘Sleeping with the Past’ which contained his number one hit ‘Sacrifice’. The song topped the charts for six consecutive weeks. In 1993, he released ‘Duets’, which contained collaborations with 15 different artists including Eric Clapton. He has been touted a Disney Legend for his immense contribution to Disney films. John has been quoted as saying that he now wants to venture into the hip-hop genre and work with artists like Timbaland and Snoop Dogg. Elton John married David Furnish in 1993.He has ten god children.
