Dudley Stuart John Moore, shortly know as Dudley Moore was born on April 19, 1935 in Charing Cross Hospital. At the age of six, he was already fond of playing piano and organ which encouraged him to be a part of the choir. He enrolled at Dageman County High School where he firmly developed his talent. And because of that, he attended Magdalen College, Oxford where music was still his priority. In this school, he studied music and composition and at the same time performed in the Oxford Revenue with his friend Alan Bennett. In addition to that, Bennett recommended Moore to his producer in which both of them worked together in the comedy avenue “Beyond the Fringe
”. When he was studying in college, he became a jazz pianist and composer. From this, he started to work with different leading musicians like Cleo Danworth and Cleo Laine. Aside from music, he also starred in different comedy and action films. In “Arthur”, he was the one of the lead roles who made the film successful along with George Webber. In 1978 “Foul Play
”, he appeared as one of the main characters along with Chevy Chase
and Golden Hawn. Moore also is a business minded person. He had a partnership fashionable restaurant located in Venice, California. He died on March 27, 2002 due to pneumonia.
