He graduated with double majors in engineering. He also starred in the film “The Happy Suicide”, directed by Roger Moore. In 1967, he appeared in the film “The Dirty Dozen” along with Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin. At the same year, Sutherland also appeared in the film “The Avengers”, where he played one of the main characters. His career became bloomer during the 1970’s where consequently appeared in different film genres such as drama, horrors and comedy. In 1973, he starred in the horror film “Don’t Look Now” and the war movie “The Eagle Has Landed” in 1976. He also appeared in several TV series like “Dirty Sexy Money”. Aside from appearing in shows and films, he also worked in different commercials in radio.
