A Canadian actor, Donald McNicol Sutherland was born on July 17, 1935 in Saint John, New Brunswick. He attended Victoria College, University of Toronto where he met his future wife. He graduated with double majors in engineering. After he finished his study in college, he pursued his passion by enrolling in London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art where he was surprisingly inspired to be one of the most famous actors.
His first film projects were British films and consequently played some notable roles in horror films along with his friend Christopher Lee
namely, “Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors” and “the Saint”. He also starred in the film “The Happy Suicide”, directed by Roger Moore

In 1973, he starred in the horror film “Don’t Look Now” and the war movie “The Eagle Has Landed” in 1976. He also appeared in several TV series like “Dirty Sexy Money”.
