Bruce Willis was born on March 19, 1955 in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany and grew up Penns Grove, New Jersey with his parents Marlene and David Willis who was an American soldier. Bruce was the eldest among the four siblings. After his father was discharged from military service, they moved back to Penns Grove where his father worked as a factory worker and welder. He graduated high school in Penns Grove before moving to New York to become an actor. He was tending bars for a living until he got several roles in plays. He was known for his hard edged and wise cracking roles in impressive films such “Die Hard” and “Look Who’s Talking”. He is also known for his role as John McClane in the Die Hard Series. Bruce Willis was once married to famous actress Demi Moore (Ghost and Striptease) and had three daughters. They eventually got divorced in year 2000 after thirteen years of marriage and have shared custody of their children. Bruce starred in about sixty films that include Sin City, Die Hard 2, Armageddon, Pulp Fiction, The Sixth sense and Unbreakable. He is also the sixth highest grossing actor for a leading role and eighth highest grossing actor if supporting roles were included. His movies at the North American box office grossed around US$2.55 to US$3.04 billion. Bruce Willis is also well known for his support in the United States Armed Forces.

He had several famous and box office hit movies such as Die Hard, In Country, Look Who's Talking, Die Hard 2, Hudson Hawk, The Last Boy Scout, Death Becomes Her, Die Hard with a Vengeance, The Jackal, Armageddon and Live Free or Die Hard. He also has several TV appearances such as “Misfire” in “That '70s Show”, “Paul Stevens” in “Friends”, “No Exit” in “Miami Vice” and “Love Unlimited” in “Ally McBeal”. Bruce was also a producer in a few movies including “Live Free or Die Hard” and “The Hip Hop Project”
