Bill Murray is an American actor comedienne. He was born as William James Murray on September 21, 1950 in Wilmette, Illinois. His parents are Lucille Collins and Edward J. Murray II. They are all nine children and Bill is the fifth. Three of his brothers are also in the same business, to wit, John, Joel and Brian Doyle-Murray. Bill Murray is an American actor comedienne. He was born as William James Murray on September 21, 1950 in Wilmette, Illinois. His parents are Lucille Collins and Edward J. Murray II. They are all nine children and Bill is the fifth. Three of his brothers are also in the same business, to wit, John, Joel and Brian Doyle-Murray. The family is not well-to-do so their mom had to pressure them to work. Bill, at an early age, had to read biographies of American heroes for children. Together with his brothers, he had to work as a caddy to support his schooling. In his teens, he was a lead vocalist of a band Dutch Masters and at the same time joins to both school and community stage plays. Immediately after his graduation, he went to Denver, Colorado and enrolled at the Regis University for a pre-med course. However, he got caught for possession of marijuana at the O’Hare Airport in Chicago that caused him to drop out from school. After the incident he had to work hard to sustain himself including being a stint.

With Bill’s older brother’s help, he started at the Second City Chicago to study under Del Close. The group fitted Bill’s clever way and ad lib comedy with natural humor. When he moved to New York City in 1975, John Belushi recruited him for The National Lampoon Radio Hour that aired through 600 stations in 1973 to 1974. He had his first exposure nationwide in Saturday Night Live which was followed with character roles in some movies including The Razor’s Edge, Ghostbusters, Stripes, Caddyshack, Groundhog Day, Rushmore, What About Bob? and Space Jam. Lately, he had gained acclamations for some dramatic roles in movies including the The Life Aquatic with Steve, Zissou, Lost in Translation, The Lost City, Broken Flowers and The Royal Tenenbaums.
