Alice Ghostley is an American actress who is known best for playing the role of Esmeralda in Bewitched. She received her Emmy nomination for Best Actress In A Comedy Series for Designing Women in 1992. She was also a regular cast member for The Julie Andrews Hour under ABC-TV.

She had one of her biggest breaks in the Broadway stage for the New Faces of 1952 which also featured other up and coming stars of that time such as Carol Lawrence and Eartha Kitt. With this amazing momentum, she continued on with short lived musicals like the 1954 Sandhog which featured Jack Cassidy.
